Hello to new Intern Terry Sidhu!

Date : November 15, 2012

Terry SidhuI grew up in the northwest region of British Columbia and was lucky to be surrounded by forests, mountains, and lakes. As I was working and studying in the business field, I was also moving through BC to cities like Prince George, Victoria, and Vancouver. I found I was constantly meeting people who cared about their cities and the environment around them.

These experiences led me to the Sustainable Community Development program, where I focused on what makes cities successful and how they impact the natural environment. With more experience I have gained an understanding in areas such as urban design, environmentally friendly building practices, and transportation policies. After gaining a LEED GA credential I was anxious to put that knowledge to practice and I am now very lucky to be working on a few different projects with Recollective Consulting. I hope to use this experience to gain my LEED AP in Neighborhood Development.

Interns are short-term volunteer positions for gaining LEED / green building experience. If you are interested in this, please check out our Internship Program.
