In the pursuit of high performance buildings, some municipalities, project owners and others have asked that developers build to “LEED Equivalency”. Is LEED equivalency equal to certification? What are the alternatives? We will be sharing the outcomes of the recent forum in Vancouver on Equivalency and opening up the dialogue to a national audience to find out what could be improved with the LEED certification process and what other solutions exist.
