Chris has over 12 years professional experience in New Zealand Architecture working on a large variety of project types from small-scale residential alterations to extensive commercial projects. Past roles have included green building consultancy, specialist building envelope detailing, site observation, contract management, project management, design and documentation.

Focusing on sustainability throughout his career Chris has utilized his Building Science background to incorporate sustainable design into all of the projects he has been involved in. As a sustainability consultant he has overseen a number of projects that have been certified as well as a lot that have been designed to best practice.

Chris’ Building Science studies focused on the appropriate design of sustainable engineering systems to address the quality of built environments while incorporating sustainable materials and building resources. Further to this he explored the performance of sustainable buildings through Post Occupancy Evaluation.
